Sue Massie, APA
MMA President & Senior Landscape Architect
Sue manages projects of various types including trails and greenways, parks and open space, and large-scale commercial and industrial developments. Sue is a 1974 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UI/UC) Department of Landscape Architecture with graduate study in human and plant geography. For several years she directed Illinois’s abandoned mine reclamation department.

Kent Massie, ASLA
Senior Landscape Architect
In practice since 1975, Kent manages a variety of both planning and design projects including campus and educational facilities, urban rehabilitation and landmark sites. His projects have received the State of Illinois Madigan Awards and American Society of Landscape Architecture Awards for excellence in design. Kent Massie is a graduate of the UI/UC in landscape architecture with graduate study in fine art and graphic design.

Matt Grossman
Junior Landscape Architect
Matt specializes in commercial and institutional site design where he assists with public presentations. He graduated from the UI/UC in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. After working in St. Louis, he joined Massie Massie & Associates in the Spring of 2004.

Neil Brumleve
Landscape Architect In-Training
Neil assists with surveying, design and the preparation of AutoCAD drawings for recreational and estate projects. Neil has been with Massie Massie & Associates since graduating in the Spring of 2006 from UI/UC with a landscape architecture degree.
